They are constructed of recycled plastic known as Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET). The detachable buckle allows you use whatever you have attached to the lanyard without having to take the lanyard off. Simply disconnect the buckle, use your keys or badge then snap the buckle back together. RPET lanyards are a much more sustainable solution than standard PET or nylon lanyards because they are made from recycled plastic. Available in 3 different widths (5/8", 3/4", 1" wide) and your choice of a J-hook, keyring, bulldog, or lobster claw is included.
